Collective Leadership

Developland is announcing a 2019 series of the Collective Leadership Program and is inviting change agents and leaders – public/private and non-profit – to join. Leaders who share our insight that a systems approach to leadership is the way forward to address the complexity and challenges affecting business and organisations everywhere will especially benefit from this program.

Collective leadership is a discipline of systems thinking. This program focuses on skills and behaviours that enable leaders to connect, co-create and co-lead together in order to innovate for new levels of human performance within and across organisational boundaries.

This program develops leaders who can think and act differently in today’s fast changing environment – able to sense the emerging future, seize new opportunities, and achieve shared goals, capitalising on the power of the collective. In our approach, teams  become capable of performing at their highest potential, creating culture together.

The Collective Leadership Program is an opportunity for leaders to experience collective leadership in anopen enrolment format. By joining, participants have the opportunity to grow their leadership in a cutting edge program while also assessing the potential of Developland’s offerings.

Program Schedule

This is a 3-retreat program consisting of the following:

  • Leading from Your Authentic Core (17-18-19 October 2019)
The experience of personal leadership growth and impact: A collective model requires deep selfawareness from values base, leadership purpose, vulnerability, and the courage to express oneself fully authentically.  Participants will receive an assessment and will be provided with an ELSP profile. ELSPÓ is the Embodied Leadership Strengths Profile (ELSP) assessment methodology.*
  • Leading from Your Collective Whole (13 – 14 -15 February 2020)
Self-discovery in relationship and co-creation with others: Thinking systemically and harnessing the collective intelligence across teams and organisations in order to co-lead as a collective.
  • Leading from the Emerging Future (16-17-18 April 2020)
Heightened awareness of systemic patterns and implications for the future: How, as a collective, to ask different questions, see systems, shift mental models, and lead through change and complexity, leveraging collective strengths.

*ELSP is an attention-based assessment method that identifies individual’s qualities, talents, strengths and challenges. It is unique because where most assessment methods use psychological questionnaires, ELSP creates a personal profile by testing how the person prefers to move and operate his or her body.

Your Leadership Team

Your facilitation team will include certified Leadership co-leaders of the Collective Leadership methodology.
They are all certified by Leadership Coefficient, led in Australia by Leadership Coefficient founder, Jane Weber.

Learning Approach

The program is designed to generate significant personal and professional growth and has a profound impact. Multiple learning approaches are used: facilitated discussions, experiential exercises, coaching and personal reflection. Personal and cultural change is a journey, and the program supports that with 3 retreats over 6 – 8 months, plus 3 in-between coaching sessions to reinforce learning.
